Everything you need to know about Equanimity Maths — from how classes work to how we handle your data.
All Equanimity Maths classes are delivered live online via Zoom. You will receive a Zoom link upon booking confirmation. All you need is a device with a camera and a stable internet connection.
Small group classes are capped at a maximum of 5 students per session. This is a deliberate decision — it preserves the attention and quality of a private lesson while allowing students to learn alongside peers in a similar situation.
We cover 1st Year, 2nd Year, 3rd Year, Transition Year, 5th Year and 6th Year across Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate on the Irish SEC curriculum. Small group classes are Higher Level only; Ordinary Level students are catered for through 2-to-1 sessions.
Classes commence in September 2026. To secure your child's place, simply fill in the Register Your Interest form on our website or email us at equanimitymaths@equanimitymaths.com. Places are limited to 5 per class and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Yes — individual 1-to-1 sessions are available this summer. Small group sessions are also available upon request. Contact us at equanimitymaths@equanimitymaths.com to arrange a summer session.
Students need a device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, their Maths textbook and copybook, and a calculator where relevant. All additional resources and notes are provided by Equanimity Maths.
Small group classes are €120 per student per month. 2-to-1 tuition is €200 per student per month. Both run September to May and include recordings of any missed class. Larger group classes (coming soon) will be €20 per student. The Vault premium membership is €24.99 per month.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. You can pay by debit or credit card. No card details are ever stored without your explicit consent.
We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may not be eligible for a refund. We understand that emergencies happen and will always try to accommodate where possible.
Yes — The Vault is a monthly rolling subscription with no contract or minimum term. You can cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
We are happy to discuss block booking arrangements for families committing to a full term of classes. Please contact us at equanimitymaths@equanimitymaths.com to discuss options.
The Vault is our premium membership at €24.99 per month. It gives students access to the full resource library — topic notes, formula sheets and worked examples — full recordings of all live classes, and a complete bank of SEC past papers with Tadgh's worked solutions and exam commentary.
No — The Vault is available as a standalone subscription to any Irish Junior Cycle or Leaving Cert student regardless of whether they attend our live classes. It is a complete independent study resource.
The Vault is updated continuously throughout the school year. New class recordings are added within 24 hours of each live session. New resources and past paper solutions are added regularly, especially in the lead up to exam season.
All classes are taught by Tadgh Hanrahan — a qualified Maths and PE teacher from Dublin City University with over 5 years of tutoring experience across all year groups and ability levels. Tadgh also works full time as a secondary school teacher giving him a unique insight into exactly what students need.
Most tuition focuses on exam technique and memorisation. Equanimity Maths focuses on genuine understanding first — the calm, composed approach to problem solving that actually sticks under exam pressure. Small group sizes, an Irish curriculum focus and a judgment-free environment set us apart from larger, more generic tuition providers.
Equanimity means mental calmness and composure, especially in difficult situations. It is the state we cultivate in every student — not just the ability to solve a problem, but the calm to face one without fear. Maths anxiety is real. We dismantle it, session by session.
We'd love to hear from you. Email us at equanimitymaths@equanimitymaths.com and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
